Join the following sentences to make one single sentence.

1. My mother didn’t give me  Roti. She also didn’t give me any rice.
2. My mother gave me Roti. She didn’t give me any rice.
3. Boiling eggs takes less than 10 minutes. Boiling beef takes close to an hour.
4. The whole forest was reduced to ashes. Someone had set fire to it. Hundreds of animals were killed.
