Change the simple –ing forms to perfect forms or vice versa

Example 1 – I apologize for not having paid you in time.
Equivalent sentence – I apologize for not paying you in time.

Example 2 – She didn’t remember taking the pill.
Equivalent sentence – She didn’t remember having taken the pill.
