Sub: Request for being the Chief Guest in the Prize Distribution ceremony of our college

Respected Sir,

As the President of the student union of Government Women’s College, Puri, I am pleased to inform you that the Annual Prize Distribution ceremony of our college will be held any day in the second half of September, 2014.

It is the unanimous desire of our faculty members, students and the parents to have you as the Chief Guest on that occasion. You are the most popular leader of our area, and have done a lot to nurture our college from its beginning. Your presence in the function will give us an opportunity to gratefully acknowledge your contribution to the cause of women’s education in our area.

We have not fixed the date yet as we want to hold the function on a day to suit your convenience. We hope you will set aside some time to grace the occasion through your presence.

After we receive your assent to our request, we will request our respected Principal to be in touch with your Personal Secretary to ascertain the date/ dates suitable for you.

We hope you will soon communicate your readiness to our above request.
