It is a pity that despite having an indigo factory owned by an Englishman, Ulapur could not entice a man from the city. Sadly, the postmaster disliked the rural lifestyle and could not fit in with the local community. He yearned to meet like-minded urban people but continued to work at the post office to occupy his days. At home, he had hired the services of Ratan, the orphan from the village to help him with odd household chores. (This passage has 127 words. Summarize it to 46 words.)
