English Translation Exercise – 27

Translate the following question sentences given in Odia and Hindi (same sentences in two different languages) to English language. At the end of the question sentences, we have posted our model English translation answers. Do also check the select vocabulary used in our model answers and listed at the bottom of this post.

ଓଡ଼ିଆ ପ୍ରଶ୍ନ ବାକ୍ୟ

୧. ବାଘଟିକୁ ଗାଁ ବାଲା ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ଗୋଡ଼ାଇ ଗାଁରୁ ବାହାର କରିଦେଲେ।
୨. ସଜାଗ ଡ୍ରାଇଭର ଯୋଗୁଁ ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣାଟି ଟଳି ପଡ଼ିଲା।
୩. ଦୁର୍ଘଟଣା ହୋଇଥିଲେ ଅତିକମରେ ୧୫ ଜଣଙ୍କର ପ୍ରାଣ ଯାଇଥାନ୍ତା।
୪. ପରେ ଯାତ୍ରୀମାନେ ଡ୍ରାଇଭରଙ୍କୁ ବହୁତ୍ ଧନ୍ୟବାଦ୍ ଦେଲେ।
୫. ମୁଁ ଶିକ୍ଷକଙ୍କୁ ମୋର ଅସୁବିଧା ନେଇ ଅବଗତ କରାଇଲି।
୬. ମୁଁ ଜାଣେନା ସିଏ କିପରି ପ୍ରତିକ୍ରିୟା ଦେଖାଇବେ।
୭. ମୁଁ ଆସନ୍ତା ପରୀକ୍ଷାରେ ଆମ ଶ୍ରେଣୀ ରେ ସବୁଠୁ ଉପରେ ନମ୍ବର ରଖିବି।
୮. ରୋଷେଇ ଘରକୁ ମାଙ୍କଡଟି ପଶିଆସିଲା।
୯. ପରିବା ଡାଲା, ମସଲା ସେଲ୍ଫ ସବୁକୁ ଏଠି ସେଠି ଫୋପାଡି ପଳାଇ ଗଲେ।
୧୦. ଆମେ ରୋଷେଇ ଘରେଯାଇ ଦେଖିଲୁ ପୁରା ପୁରି ଅସଜଡା ହୋଇ ପଡ଼ିଛି।
୧୧. ଏ ସବୁକୁ ସଜାଡ଼ିବା ପାଇଁ ପୁରା ଦୁଇଘଣ୍ଟା ଲାଗିଗଲା।
୧୨. ମୁଁ ସମୁଦ୍ର କୂଳ ରେ ପହଞ୍ଚିଯାଏ, ତାପରେ ତମକୁ କଲ୍ କରିବି।
୧୩. ଗଲା ତିନି ବର୍ଷ ହେଲାଣି ଚୋରଟା ଫେରାର ଅଛି।
୧୪. ପୋଲିସ ତାକୁ ଗୋଡେ ଗୋଡ଼େ ଖୋଜୁଛନ୍ତି।
୧୫. ଯାହା ଜଣା ଯାଉଛି ଚୋରଟା ଶୀଘ୍ର ବାହାରକୁ ଚାଲିଆସିବ।

हिंदी प्रश्न वाक्य

१. गांव के लोगों ने बाघ को दौड़ा दौड़ा कर गांव से भगा दिया।
२. ड्राइवर की सावधानी की वजह से दुर्घटना टल गया।
३. अगर एक्सीडेंट हो जाता, तो कम से कम १५ लोगों की जान चली जाती।
४. बाद में, पैसेंजर्स ने ड्राइवर को बहुत धन्यवाद दिया।
५. मैंने टीचर को अपनी असुबिधा बताई।
६. मुझे नहीं पता कि वह कैसे प्रतिक्रिया देंगे।
७. मैं अगले परीक्षा में अपनी क्लास में सर्वाधिक अंक रखूँगा।
८. बंदर रसोई घर में घुस आया।

१२. जब मैं समुद्र तट पर पहुँचूँगा, तो तुम्हें फ़ोन करूँगा।
१३. चोर तीन साल से लापता है।
१४. पुलिस उसे लगातार ढूँढ रही है।
१५. लग रहा है की चोर जल्द ही पकड़ा जाएगा।

English Translation Answer

1. The villagers chased the tiger out of the village. [Active voice]
Or
The villagers hounded the tiger from the village. [Active voice]
Or
The tiger was chased out of the village by the villagers. [Passive voice]
Or
The tiger was hounded out of the village by the villagers. [Passive voice]

2. The alert driver averted the accident. [Active voice]
Or
The accident was averted by the alert driver. [Passive voice]

3. Had the accident happened, at least 15 people would have died.
Or
In case the accident had happened, the death toll would have mounted to 15.

4. Later, the passengers expressed their gratitude to the driver profusely. [Active voice]

5. I apprised the teacher of my difficulties. [Active voice]
Or
I communicated my difficulties to the teacher. [Active voice]

6. I can’t guess how he will react.
Or
I don’t know how he will respond.

7. I will top the class in the next examination.

8. A monkey entered our kitchen.
Or
A monkey intruded into our kitchen.
Or
A monkey made its way into our kitchen.
Or
A monkey trespassed into our kitchen.

9. It left leaving the vegetable basket and the spices shelf in disarray.
Or
It left throwing the vegetable basket and the spices shelf here and there.

10. On entering the kitchen, we found that it was in a shambles.
Or
When we went into the kitchen, we discovered that everything lay scattered.

12. Let me reach the sea beach, then I will call you.
